IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL NAGS MEMBERS

A Special General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 7th March at 7pm, prior to NAGS Ordinary Meeting at the Scout Hall, Nambour Showgrounds

The purpose of the Special General Meeting is to consider changing the Constitution to reduce the size of the NAGS Committee, and to discuss and adopt the 2011 Auditor’s Report.

Resolution of these matters will ensure the ongoing functioning of the club.  It is crucial that as many members as possible attend this meeting.  Click HERE for details of the proposed motions. Thank you, and see you there! Lois Wattis, Secretary.

Constitution Change

MOTION: To change the Constitution of Northcoast Active-Riders Group to:

11. MANAGEMENT:

(a)   The general control and management of the administration of the Group shall be by a "Committee" consisting of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and 4 (instead of 8) other members of the Group, as any annual general meeting may from time to time appoint. (delete 7 Quorum)

18. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:

(c)   At the annual general meeting 17 members (instead of 25) members shall constitute a quorum, at a general meeting 8 members shall constitute a quorum.

Auditor's Report 2011

MOTION: The Constitution of Northcoast Active-Riders Group requires that:

18. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:

(b)    (i)    The receiving of the committee's report and balance sheet and statement of accounts for the preceding financial year;

      (ii)    The receiving of the auditor's report upon the books and accounts for the preceding financial year.

As these requirements could not be met due to insufficient quorum at the AGM held in December 2011 and non-finalisation of the accounts by the Treasurer, the completed Auditor's Report for financial year ending 2011 will be presented for discussion and adoption at a Special General Meeting to be held at 7.00pm on Wednesday 7th March 2012 at the Scout Hall, Nambour Showgrounds, Nambour.
